Thanks for your ideas, the gate valve idea was so it could not get turned on accidentally So Gate valve with a screw on cap is a good, idea, also the olive is a good idea as well , the inside diameter of the hose is 35mm
going to drain the antifreeze for the first time l am thinking of cutting the bottom hose from the skin tank to the engine then make up a tee with a gate valve with a small piece of hose on so that I can fit a 12v pump in , so the next time I change the antifreeze I can pump it into drums so it's not in the engine/bilge area good or bad idea ? Also would it be alright to make the tee in copper ? Something like this
I have just painted my handrails also bounty red ( epifanes ) they where looking bad like lankystreaks , I used kleenedge nice sharp line I have also used yellow frog tape as well in the past with great success
I think you might struggle mike we are on the Huddersfield at the moment and a couple of locks today I was touching lock portside bow and lock starboard stern , if you had fenders down I think you might have fresh air under your boat
We are currently on the Huddersfield at diggle lovely place come through the tunnel on Friday amazing had to take navigation lights off as well as the Cratch & pram hudd. Took 1hr 25 minutes only damage was a small scrape on the front hand rail , definitely worth doing
