When i went to get fuel from a well known narrow boat hire company they said I had to declare some percentage when I pointed out it is self declaration and the tank that I am filling up is for my heating and nothing to do with propulsion , he then asks me how I have got here you must of used your engine , yes I used my engine and I had already paid my duty on that fuel that got me here ,

Mine is set at 1 hr , this is a strange thing that happens when I equalise my batteries 6 x 6v Trojans my heating does not come on the next day ( Webasto ) , I have to pull the fuses out stick them back in and it fires up why ? I kept meaning to ask on here any thoughts ?

We have a lockgate reflex love it use about 27/28 ltrs a week on 24/7 just give it a good clean out every couple of weeks , safe to leave unattended and easy to control heat settings , also heats the radiators , pretty boom proof not much can go wrong with them

Have you tried removing fuses ? Obviously putting them back in works for me

Why not buy a can of spray paint of the same colour just to get you through winter good thing is it drys very fast

Well I would not be without a generator mine have saved me 8 or 9 engine services that's over 2000 hrs saved on my engine
