Biggest that you can get into the terminals. Spend the money on the fattest, do it only once.

Thank you. Can I ask.....I am home over winter and was going to buy this on eBay and do the terminals myself. I find the specifications confusing as the cables are specified by various numbers etc. How can I tell what is a fat inner core and match it to the corresponding terminal .

Surely, if you size them correctly in the first place, you only ever do it once? I have 95mm2 for my 2500W with a 4.5m distance, but there is no sense in getting 95mm2 when 50mm2 will do, or is there?

You’re looking for 70mm2, probably most easily obtained from a welding supplies company.

Fractionally smaller voltage drop with everything working well within its design parameters. Nothing wrong with over-engineering high current cabling.

Its usually specified as standard sized cross sectional area with corresponding terminals to suit. I bought mine from a welding supplier online , a cheap crimper and some glue lined heat shrink sleeving.
