Re the cycle connection,some years ago while acting as a mechanic for a top amateur race team & following in a team car, a crash occurred involving 2 of our riders among others, 1 hurt his knee quite painfully he had difficulty bending it, no broken skin he asked for the WD40 can & gave his knee a good spray, got back on his spare bike & set off to catch up,for the first few Km's he was really having problems, but he began to catch up caught & passed the rest of of the riders & won the sprint; He always maintained the WD did the trick for me the jury's still out

It was designed to prevent corrosion in nuclear missiles.

 

I thought it very strange that a stainless steel vessel needed a special blend of oil made to prevent corrosion, when the main reason for using stainless in the first place is it does,nt corrode ???
