this is my new work boat..its 62' long. i have a lister 27/3 engine... its almost ready to float.

thanks to the help of a few on here i have ray waiting to get it to the water.

regards to the rivets i didnt count them,i had about 7000 pressed and have a couple of thousand left if anyone needs any?

The "hooks" on the stern - do they swivel? I think it looks great the design and the rivets. Where the rivets put in hot or cold?

yes the hooks do swivel,most of the rivets were in hot,where it was difficult they were put in cold.

i wonder if anyone can guess what these are...

I have to say that is the best boat construction i have seen in modern times, excellent work kida, i live the rivet style construction,,,,,yes i love it

 

And never mind the rivets, what about the drill bits you went through, or how many times did you sharpen the bit ?

yes i did 2 mag drills and about 30 mag cutters....before u say it i havent kept a tab on the cost ... nearly floating...

this is the proposed propeller...its a bit of a guess but hopefully it will be close...its a 25/23/4 blade on a 2"shaft...fingers crossed..

I'm a bit concerned you'll be doing 4mph at tickover with that size blade!

Lovely looking boat , that's some prop - what's the draft?

its a 2-1 reduction with a prm 500...

she will draw up to 3' 2"...the ballast is adjustable though via 6 stainless water tanks under the floor each 6" deep (so they fit)

they can be pumped out separately which should raise the boat 8-10"

oh and the engine is a lister 27/3...
