Ange
One of my first idols, I might even have had a poster 🙂 (bought from Woollies of course). Followed later by Martin Shaw. Happy memories. RIP Edited January 5 by Ange Grammar
Guest
When younger we really liked some of the slightly cheesy TV from the US, Strasky and Hutch, obv CHiPS Hill Street Blues St. Elsewhere. Happy days when we couldn't afford to go out but could watch the telly with kids tucked up in bed.
Ange
It was a different world. I used to babysit my little sister when I was 12 and she was 6. Nowadays I would have been too young. Mum and dad needed to work and couldn't afford childminders. A different world. We did ok. We lived on a council estate full of aunties and uncles. Mum and dad knew we'd be looked after if anything went wrong. The worst was needing a shilling for the meter. Taken care of by one of my aunties. There was something about "Dukes of Hazard' but I cannot quite put my finger on what it was that attracted me - maybe a fast, Orange car ?

Mike Hurley
Another police spoof series i used to watch was called Sledge Hammer, so bad it was funny but not as good as police squad with Leslie Nielsen. 19 hours ago, Tonka said: Wasn't that Starsky & Hutch's car Yes it was, i should read the post properly.😆

Don't know, but I suspect the white stripe might just have been from a seagull. Edited January 12 by Sir Percy
