  1. Size of skin tanks is mainly irrelevant, its the thermostat that controls the temperature. The only other possibility is the circuit through the calorifier losing heat constantly, is it correctly plumbed? Could it be piped into the skin tanks by mistake?

    fuel leak part 2

Its not an electric solenoid fuel stop valve then on your pump?
  3. Fatuous comment, just admit you misread the post.
  4. I can't find where the OP said he had 1/4" holes. He quotes larger than a pin, smaller than a knitting needle.
  5. Small holes that you can get at can be blocked with cocktail sticks, once they swell the leak will stop. I've seen hulls with big holes come into the dock with firewood sticking out of the bottoms, a Springer I remember well had 11 sticks hammered in down the vee line of the bottom. kept it afloat for a week while it motored to the dock.

But still disgusting no matter how you claim it is "green" , "clean", or sensible. If you want to live with your own faeces, you are most welcome. Just don't waste your time trying to justify it to me, its always going to be disgusting.

Disgusting. Sorry, its just not an acceptable way of living in the 21st century.
  10. Yes and a lot more too, they are automotive CV joints, cope with angles of over 30 degrees
  11. ^less, waste of money. Just meter them an hour after charging.
  12. I would advise not to. Potteries diesels, now PF Jones (Staffs) or the kings, Wilkinsons in Stockport.

    wide beam

Yes but only on the horizontal plain. Its not as deep as you would need for a vertical.
  14. That is a bit extreme north west ! Any around in Cheshire or north Staffs?
  15. Maybe he was wearing it under his kilt and didn't want to show his..............................
  16. Is this the L/P hull with the rear step on the starboard that drains into the engine bilge?

  19. Probably due to spares shortages, most of the gear on the flight is not common and it is the most heavily used flight in the country.

And me. I can pump out into a nice clean lavatory anywhere, leave no mess or odour. How does Vic help, does he clean up after the filth cassette users?
  22. Central heating EVs are for sealed systems, yours will be using fresh water, big difference. Hence the price.
  23. Possibly the thermostat on the range is coming on to keep the range hot. The cylinder stat and the room stat will shut down the pump but not the range if its not wired correctly. If you go on line and find the wiring diagram for " Honeywell Y plan" compare the wiring to the range to see if the wiring positively turns the boiler off or whether the range is capable of being used when the heating and hot water is off or up to temperature. I suspect that it is wired so that the range works without the heating and hot water so that you can cook.
  24. When did it start doing this? After a new pump was fitted? Pressure on most common pumps like shurflo is adjustable by the screw in the end. Check accumulator has about half the pump rated pressure inside when pump off and a tap open. pump up with a bike pump on the valve in the end (maybe under the cap)
  25. What's wrong with the fan? Is it jammed or bearings worn or burnt out? It may be fixable or it may be a standard type in their special housing. Suppose it may have decomposted itself............
