What the name of the cookie this forum uses to remember me? I'm zapping all unwanted cookies with an anti-spyware scan and don't want to zap this one.

On my computer I've been using up to a month ago, I deleted them all every few days, which is how I have kept up with a 450PII until recently.

 

This one seems to handle a few more..........

I dont think that it would have the affect of not making the new post light up.

If you log out. Delete your cookies and log back in it should be fine and nothing will have changed.. because the board will have put its cookies back.

 

I delete mine all the time just to keep things 'clean' and tidy

The board monitors the unread threads, not the settings in the cookie so dont worry about that side of things.

 

Cookies are designed to be "temporary" anyway - they just improve your experience of a website. - Delete them !
