ditchcrawler
I just came across this via a FaceBook page and wondered if anyone has tried it on a boat http://www.soguk.co.uk/
magnetman
Seems like a good idea but it looks like an extra part to unplug when changing over cassettes so may be a bit aggrevational depending on ease of access to the cassette. pquinn
Do these systems have to be vented to the outside of the boat?.I cant find any clear info on this.
WotEver
Pretty sure there have been several threads about these in the past. Don't see them very often in UK caravans which may or may not mean anything. Tony

Bro
I just came across this via a FaceBook page and wondered if anyone has tried it on a boat http://www.soguk.co.uk/ Review:- http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Product_Reviews&op=show&rid=
David Mack
Review:- http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=Product_Reviews&op=show&rid=58 So basically its a fan to draw air in through the toilet flap and exhaust it through a carbon filter. Lots of posts on here over the years from people who have said that a reasonably well vented pumpout tank doesn't actually need any chemical, and others who prefer to use yeast rather than blue. Loddon
We just use Asda smartprice bio washing liquid in our cassette. No smell, no blue chemicals, cheap and works fine. Been trying various bio liquids over the last few years and this works the best. The SOG needs an external vent so is a non starter for us. Starcoaster
This seems...gimmicky? And even if it does work to stop smells when in use, surely the smell of emptying a totally untreated cassette is only for the brave?
