Quite high up this end, but the plants will be sucking it all up now.

That will be why, most of it still has to come down through here.

Every time I come to the boat with the intention of going out the river goes on SSA.

Maybe its trying to tell me something.

We thought that our days of river level watching were over when we sold the boat. How wrong we were

In January the Ouse flooded in York a week before we were due to visit. We spent the week prior watching the webcams and hoping that the water receded enough that we could access the site which thankfully they did.

This week we have been watching river levels in Tewksbury instead. Last weekend the site there flooded after heavy rain further upstream. Again it looks like we will be able to set off tomorrow and actually get onto the site.

With our track record it will be Rother Valley's turn next

River gauges say normal but river still closed.

The Nene was due to come off today, but last nights rain meant the auto telemetry says no for another couple of days.

From the EA.

Crossing The Nene at both Willy Watts and Ditchford today it all looked normal, however appearances can be deceptive.
