The Seine, the last time we went to the shipyard, just before lockdown came upon us. Our boat Luciole, 35.7 metres long, but looking pretty small against present-day traffic trend,s is waiting  above trhe lock.

We crossed the Channel vaguely in company with Bill & Sue on Rijnstrom, and Roger & Rosemary Preen on Vijf Gebroeders to a gathering of barges organised by the newly formed Dutch Barge Association in Paris May 1995. Photo taken by Rosemary of our arrival in Calais:
