  1. A bit of " London white" perhaps?, might sell better down there.
  2. Dr Bobs post in 2018 it was newly developed, empty, with a price of £1.1m, now with a different agent, occupied with a price £950K.
  3. Its back on the market again https://www.knightfrank.com/properties/residential/for-sale/southam-road-napton-southam-cv47/str180249 It was better as a pub.
  4. If its a steel pipe, like mine was its rusted up on the inside reducing the diameter. No amount of huffing, puffing & blowing will get rid of the rust. Cut the vertical steel pipe off just below the bend inside the tank, you should then be able to scrape the rust out of the bend. Replace the vertical steel pipe with a suitable piece of plastic hose pushed over the stub end, add a jubilee clip it its not a tight fit.
  5. They offer me a service every year & my membership is only silver.
  6. RCR? don't they do that? Are you a member?

    Co-oP X Buns

The Tesco buns are pretty good too but best of all are the M&S mini ones, 9 in a pack.
  8. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 10 posts to view.
  9. Google Breathable Roofing Membrane. Tyvek is the best known name but there's lots of different brands, and colours!! We used to sell it at work.
  10. No, but another lockless canal.
  11. Saw "Dreadlocks" today, had to think about that one, I wonder if they do?
  12. Nor to me, but someone obviously thinks it is at £120,000
  13. Advert in the January 2020 Waterways World. 654 sq m 45m canal frontage https://www.brown-co.com/properties/12699655/sales#from-grid Vendor has added a development clawback clause of 30% for 40 years!!!!!!! I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on CWF
  14. 16.5 sq m per 2.5ltr tin doesn't sound very much, I would have thought 16.5 sq m per 1 ltr would be more like it. A tin of Dulux Satinwood here on the side at home says 17sq m per Ltr. So primer to cover 160 sq m would be 10 rather than 25
  15. Went to see the plans this evening at an open meeting, they start work next Monday on site preparation with work proper starting in the new year with completion next October. The tunnel under the road on the north west side of the A38 roundabout will be done first with 2 way traffic the wrong way round the other side of the roundabout then the south east side. That will cause some confusion.
  16. Brilliant, thanks. Christopher Trace, Valerie Singletons old chum.
  17. I watched that last night, fascinating & frightening at the same time. I liked his battery powered soldering iron. Not so sure about rinsing the case out & tipping it out on the street.
  18. There are two OSBs, OSB2 & OSB3. Quick google gives "OSB2 = structural (non-load bearing) use in dry conditions. - OSB3 = structural (load bearing) use in humid conditions (where moisture is present). What exactly ………. which is exactly what I would have said from experience running an independent merchant. Using the right one would make a difference.
  19. I stuck our tiles on with gripfill 15 years ago, still there. These days I'd probably use "Sticks like sh1t" Grouted with white silicon with a gun & wiped off with my favourite Wonderwipes, the only thing I know which will remove/clean uncured silicon so leaving a superb finish.
  20. Could you go round with your card and collect everyone else's credit?
  21. Thanks for that Dora. We don't normally stop in Kidderminster, a days run is usually from Stourport to Kinver both of which have sani stations. We've seen the CRT workboat mooring but never realised there was a sani station there, useful to know if Kinver or Stourport are out of action. Thanks.
