Lots of places as been said. Swanley, Ellesmere, Chirk etc
  2. They are all where I live, Benidorm. The place is jam packed with every hotel fully booked.
  3. Www.stmarysmarina.co.UK will be fine.
  4. You say your grease is LOW. In that case wait till you pass a marina where you can buy some. Being low means you still have some in there so it's not critical.
  5. It's like riding a bike. At first it's a bit wobbly or scary but it soon becomes second nature, as on a bike you won't even think about it.
  6. Tim just shown his true colours, this being a contact sport.

  13. I could do with it for 12months if it`s still free. Lol
  14. Unless it is for comprehensive insurance I'd have thought 4mm was ample thickness.
  15. I once worked at a place that cut lots of big cable. Jubi!ee clip and angle grinder with metal cutting disc.
  16. That link that Richard posted is OTT. I build model RC aeroplanes and they cost half that.
  17. Yes I just realized he's missing
  18. After a very quick read I notice a couple of things. I guess the neon might actually be a L.E.D. these are polarity sensitive so will only work with current flowing in one direction.
  19. Not well catered for. The one in Whitchurch is near the railway station so quite a walk. Llangollen has one opposite the GRAPES PUB but not very close to the canal. Best bet is Ellesmere on Victoria St next to chippy. Only a few minutes from canal and open 7 days from 7 till 9. Other than that most marinas have one if you ask.
  20. Got to disagree with that. The metal will be quite warm so there won't be any damp on there. Give it a go.

  24. 30th April - 2nd May Skipton Canal Festival
  25. I have had satellite internet and it does work but there are down sides to it. The price is coming down all the time and it is now comparable to mobile data prices. The main down when using it is ping times. Ping time is the time taken to send a small data package to a given site and have it returned to you. To get a ping time data goes to the satellite then to the given website, then back to the satellite and then back to you. A decent time would be 25 millisecs but on sat internet it will be anything over 750ms, a huge difference. Upload and download speeds are lightening fast but you need to remember that both you and the other end are sending a signal into space and that takes time, almost a second in fact. This means that things like skype or voip is difficult to say the least because of the time lag. Personally I would not have it again unless it was the only option. As an only option it is a godsend.
