    Was unfortunate last week and had to call 999 twice for the same problem. Both crews were brilliant and were very interested in life on board. Only complaint was the poor or possibly just standard suspension in the ambulance.

    I think Oxfordshire narrow boats brought up all the old stock for their fleet

    Looks like the ones fitted to Oxfordshire narrow boats, believe the manufacturer was on the K&A but have ceased trading.

    Have the same problem in my lockers. Put rubber mats in thinking it would let water flow out from under kit stored and am now having rust problems. Do not know what the answer is.

    Boat out the water today and pleased at the condition of the Ballastic. Very little deterioration and only a few waterline rust spots.

    Used it 3 yrs ago, out for blacking in 2 weeks time. Will let you know how it is then. Was easy to apply and dried quickly.

    Lidl do a very good range under the Hatherwood label, brewed at Witney in the same brewery as Hobgoblin. Not all to my taste but cannot fault them.

    Hawkesbury on the Hawkesbury river N.S.W. first shop from the ferry. Brilliant chips and fish caught in the river.

    We had our waste oil taken away this week. Driver informed me that it is illegal to burn it in this country now due to environmental regs so they now export it to France(60000 lts per week) where it is still used.

    Excell has been excellent this year on my Boatman stove. Good heat very low ash.

    I noticed this problem with the excel at the beginning of last winter but it improved as the season progressed. This year the excel I have been getting has none of the problems of the last few years, it gives good heat, no fumes and is easy to keep in. Must be made by different manufacturers, mine is in marked bags from K G Smith.

    Got the same problem only started when I brought Fireangel. I now have a heat alarm in the kitchen and smoke alarms else where, but the smoke alarms still go off.

    Similar to my fan. If it goes clickclickclickclick all is fine. If it is click............click............click.............click time to put on more coal if it is ....................... too late fire is out
