rawsondsr
Is there a map i can view with current closures on it due to water loss/breach/other?
Heartland
I do not recall a map with that detail. The CRT do publish maps on their websites, but the current changing aspects of closures and re-openings are best consulted in the notices published on the web. It would probably be difficult for CRT, Peel Ports, Environment Agency etc to arrange for a virtual map that is updated on a regular basis. Yet it is a point that they perhaps could consider for the future as app technology improves.
leeco
I can’t believe that they still send you emails telling you to continue your journey.

They do have up to date maps with current stoppages but they are by separate canal sections e.g. https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/enjoy-the-waterways/canal-and-river-network/grand-union-canal They can be accessed via the main map https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/enjoy-the-waterways/canal-and-river-network But of a faff doing it that way but not to bad if you know the specific canals you are interested in. Alternatively you can get current stoppages, but not in map format, here https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/notices

A map of what is still open would probably be easier to produce.

That's a problem with loading multiple tabs - when you go to the map tab it sits at the min zoom - you can just reload the page or use https://canalplan.org.uk/utilities/stoppages.php?tab=997 Which starts it at the proper map level
