Advice on Heating/Hot Water Please

I think our snowflake must have melted away! Seriously though, how do these people function in the real world with such an overwhelming sense of entitlement? I bet they will be a complete pain on the waterways, mooring in stupid places etc because after all, it is only them that matter. And no doubt grumping because, having bought a floating cottage to live on, they will discover that they actually have to move it! So UNFAIR!

Try Thunderboat?  http://thunderboat.boards.net  :)

No, I think she would only be able to function on one of those closed Facebook groups where everyone has identical thoughts and views, and to disagree is close to a capital offence! Sort of 1984 Groupthink. Scary! I am so glad I’m quite old and will be dead soon, as once the groupthink snowflakes take over the world (which will be soon), it will be doomed!

It is simple. You (and I mean everybody) are one of three types:

  • you respond to any hint of aggression with exactly the same level of aggression
  • you respond to any hint of aggression with a lower level or no aggression
  • you respond to any hint of aggression with a greater level of aggression

I find no difference between the OP and NN, they are both in the third category.

True, but only if I am bigger than them.

Engine heated Calorifier + A N other (instantaneous gas heater in our case)

Same here with an L port valve between the two supplies. I have a mains immersion heater in the calorifier for shore power use and I used to have hot water from an eberspacher too until that packed up. So it's not a case of which one. The more choices your have for heating and hot water on a boat the better.
