Guy Martin is to make a world record attempt by hydrofoil on the River Witham through Lincoln.

Filming takes place of the 27th and 28th July.

I can make sure Stamp End Lock is for him, but The Brayford Belle isn't the nimblest of craft when it comes to turning onto her mooring.

He did a test in a pedalo but wasn't satisfied that the amount of weed just below the water surface was safe.

What I found even more unsafe was the amount of people (mainly giggly young women) wandering around in the traffic crossing the bridge above trying to do selfies with Guy below them in the distance ......... idiots!
