Jaywhizz
Hi all, I'm buying a boat to restore and eventually live on, I'm unsure as to what make/model this boat is, I have trawled through pictures on Google and can't find a match. Note the step on the roof, also it has 2 hatches. Pictures to follow once iv worked out how lol.... http://s12.postimg.org/5cogiirpp/IMAG0167.jpg http://s3.postimg.org/572fjiqfn/IMAG0165.jpg Edited October 1, 2015 by Jaywhizz

Jaywhizz
Thx, I'm guessing that's just a name you've given it... or one associated with the registration number as I can't find anything that looks the same using good old Google Norman was what I thought too but nothing the same, it's the stepped roof and double hatch that's so different to the Normans iv seen
Starcoaster
Licence number returns 25ft GRP but no builder! It's name is Semper though! Edited October 1, 2015 by Starcoaster
Jaywhizz
That's kind of a cool name, was going to rename her "Aria-Eden" after my two nieces when she comes out the water for hull painting. Is there a chance it's custom built then as supposed to one of the regular manufacturers?
magnetman
Interesting stern I am not an expert on splitters but I don't think its a Norman. Possibly a Buckingham? I think there are some GRP experts on here so you probably will find out.
Starcoaster
I wouldn't think so, it doesn't look one of a kind. I think the issue is that all of us who have looked so far aren't experts on GRP boats. I am sure someone who is more familiar with them could tell you at a glance. matty40s
It is indeed a Buckingham 25. The hull design was subsequently used by Viking. Edited October 1, 2015 by matty40s
Jaywhizz
Thx for the site link, Buckingham 25 is the closest so far, only perceived difference now is the side windows are different. Hatches, stepped roof and the alloy frame surrounding the windscreen all match!

matty40s
Sileby? The location, not the maker Richard don't think so Richard, there's not a lot of rise in water levels the way they are tied. Maybe meadow farm or Proctors Edited October 1, 2015 by matty40s
