So the people who like CRT don't Cruise I guess clapping.gif

 

Perhaps we'd all better pile into the Canal Cruising 'take part' bit and see what the outcome then becomes!

I'm obviously not allowed to comment.....when I click the links I just get a blank page with the headline 509 Bad Gateway sad.png

I'm equally confused how anybody is making anything of the initial post, as both links take you to exactly the same page for "Canal cruising".

 

Despite what the link has been captioned the second one seems to have nothing to do with "People Who Like Canal & River Trust"

 

Wrong link supplied, possibly, for the second one???

Hmmmmm. Don't know how I got that mixed up. And a pity because the juxtaposition of the two is wonderful.

I'm not supposed to offer professional opinions any more, 'cos I'm retired and don't have a practising cert, but:

 

These are self selected samples of 138 and 68 out of an estimated population of around 60,000 (assuming an average of about two boaters per CRT licence). The results are therefore bollards and will never be anything else. What a complete waste of time and money even creating the webpages.

 

It would be funny were it not that some politico will indeed try to use the "data" to justify some policy or other.
