Near lake Nipigon. Near Ontario. ( well as near as can be in country the size of Canada)

 

LOL - well yes it would be considered "near" in our terms, but since it's located in a different country it wouldn't be used as a reference point really.

 

It would be like saying Dover is just a little west of Calais

I'm certainly not arguing here I've not yet be albe to go to Canda. Although it's one of my dream places to go. Just when I look on maps on my iPhone/iPad and also Google maps. All the places I said was in Canada?

Aren't iphone maps about as reliable as iphones themselves?

No problem at all, and I really don't mean to come across as snobbish in any way.

 

Both the Toronto Lakes mentioned in post #65 which you referred to are actually located in the US. One in Kansas and the other in southern part of New York state.

Fair play, there is indeed a Lake Toronto in Ontario, in Canada. However, it still isn't one of the Great Lakes :)

As Starry said why the huge deal about the human body,

 

I'm just not that proud of how mine has stood the test of time and would rather keep it clothed.

As far as I can work out its about 2 or 3 hundred meters long! Here in the Lake District that would be a tarn or a muddy puddle but certainly not a lake! biggrin.png

Bloody hell thanks, that's just reminded me of something I saw last year but had forgotten about until you posted.

Just after I bought my boat last year I was somewhere between Weedon & Stoke Bruerne and passed an old wrinkly bloke bollock naked walking on the towpath with just a rucksack on his back. I had a friend with me who was in the cabin making a brew and I wanted to draw her to come out and see but the only way I could get her attention was to sound the klaxon. Needless to say he thought I was 'tooting' at him!

 

Ah obviously things happen when you have a tea pot on the roof.

Whilst on the middle levels last year we enjoyed many an afternoon/evening of sunshine and freedom without clothes, never actually seeing a soul. I totally recommend it

 

Also on the GU this year in plenty of places.

 

And oddly coming back up the Nene past Stanwick lakes we encountered a lovely old chap strolling naked with a rucksack on his back. a lovely day for enjoying life as nature intended, there is nothing sexual or dirty about it; its just being a natural human being

Had a bit of Alfresco boating this weekend. So lovely and to my knowledge I was not spotted by anyone

 

I thought about the kilt option but its still clothes.
