Rubber feet for wooden roof box

Featured Posts

Hi

Has anybody come across any thin rubber feet or strips that might be useful to give a non-slip surface to the underside of the legs of a wooden roof box, and to protect the roof?

Thanks

I made some from a sheet of one sixteenth rubber jointing - glued them on with contact adhesive

I have used rubber door stops from Ebay placed at the sides they hold the box level and just above the curve of the roof in the center. they come in several sizes, if too big look for computer case feet.

I used some of them but found they perished after a couple of years

There's a multitude of different rubber feet available. We've decided to now do away with our larger swivel tilt array and make up 2 roof boxes which will also swivel & tilt.

I quite like these with a steel insert.

These also will give a good grippy footprint.
