This facility is currently closed due to the elsan becoming repeatedly blocked.

We will be carrying out a camera survey to establish the cause of the problem.

This notice will be updated once we have more information.

Braunston and Watford are alternative customer service facilities for the area.

That's how I read it also at first, but I guess it means they are going to stick a camera down the hole to see what's going on.

If it looks and smells like it did when we tried to use it a week ago, (I did just hold on to the contents of my stomach, but it was a close thing), then I hope the people are being paid danger money.

 

I can't imagine a camera could see far through what I saw then, unless there is such a thing as an infra-shit (or do I mean ultra-shit) camera.

Might cause a few hold ups if it were, as the only practical place t put the boat whilst doing an SPO would be actually in a very busy lock!
