Day Tank and Header Tank Suppliers

Is there a supplier for this sort of thing or is it a case of getting a local fabricator to make them up?

I went cheap and bought a plastic one for £5 off a scrap renault clio!! Looked at 3 cars the 3rd one perfect. Works a treat on my solid fuel stove heating system.

I'm ok for a diesel day tank, looking for a metal header/expansion (non pressurised) tank for engine coolant. About 2 litres. The one I have currently is plastic and leaks. (See left hand side of shiney day tank).

 

 

 

 

I think I'm going to get a fabricator to make one up as I want to have a sightglass /level indicator on it.

fit it as your main fuel tank and declare to HMRC you only use a pint of propulsion Diesel a year ?
