Westminster Campaign Cruise

So there was coverage, it's just that hardly anyone reads or watches mainstream news any more. It's almost impossible to publicise any kind of event these days - the old concept of broadcast news that everyone listens to is gone. Facebook had its uses for a while, but no longer, X is a farce. National newspapers are mostly political party handouts, local ones are a joke. No one listens to local radio, it's just background noise in charity shops and my dentist.

There is simply no way to reach the general public any more. It's a weird situation as  you'd think with communications now being both ubiquitous and instant, it would be easy, but in fact the opposite is the case. There's too much information flow, all the time, so nothing except pictures of cats being cute gets noticed.

I might have read the rest of your post if you'd included a picture of a cat being cute...  :giggles:

They should try the Guy Fawkes approach. He made the headlines for a very long time and let's be honest not many people would be that bothered these days.

As with many news items, it wasn't wholly accurate. The FBW campaign is about the funding of other waterways such as the EA controlled ones and not just CRT's.
