I was sad to learn of his passing. Although not boat connected (so far as I know) certainly his creativity touched the lives of many members here. Whether you settled down to watch Z Cars, Dr Who or Wallace & Grommit you'll have enjoyed his work. I understand he was also a close friend/work associate of at least one of our members. It's a year round issue at Nether. Every time I've been going down through it, no matter what time of year or time of day the lock keeper has always warned of their behaviour. Due to their habit of shouting abuse and catapulting maggots I've learnt to barrel through at the highest pace I can achieve.
