  1. Been happening over the last week i have read, you would think they would have someone watching the locks to try and catch the shits, no, they ask for boaters to help on twitter instead!
  2. I would guess yes, i wound my 57ft at the other one, just before the tunnel easy enough.
  3. 1994 was a good era for me, lots of parties and ladies, i had long flowing hair and a slim waist, no idea what the canals were like coz i was having fun. For me its about how will the system be in 30 years time, who will be running it, who will own the system...
  4. Putting under the bed and venting to the outside would bring cold air in to a place where you dont want cold air to be, cold air meets warm air creates damp bed?
  5. Radio adverts are being played and have been all week...

  9. All depends what boxes you have, sky requires one feed per box, sky+ requires 2 feeds per box, skyQ requires two feeds for the main box then each mini box connects via wifi. How many boxes and which kind do you have?
  10. my point was, the request was last year, no matter of the outcome.
  11. no, after an hour of walking around looking at the stalls, i went to the beer tent, had a couple of pints then decided as the sun was shining and i had colder, cheaper ale on the boat, i would bugger off cruising, so i did...
  12. I would imagine the trip has been done by now.....
  13. I agree with him, went last year and left after a couple of hours, full of stalls selling stuff you can cheaper online and a beer tent with not enough seats.
  14. I dont who's arse is twitching more, the boaters who fear the canals will fall into disrepair or mr parry when the government funding stops and the money drys up, there is only so many properties can be sold, only so much begging at hawkesbury junction each weekend can be done.... something has to give.
  15. Still got the BW on my plates, they aint changing!

  18. So trying to cut costs in the first place has failed and now they need to spend more money. Clowns.
  19. Spotted that pump and did think about it, looks cheap though, i know the johnson one is good quality.
  20. As title says, i am going to remove the pump from my alde comfort, the one that sits in the expansion tank on top of the boiler, i find it takes far to long to heat the rads. Have fitted new rads this year and replaced 75% of the pipes from the old 22m down to 15mm and also cutting out the bypass under each rad meaning water passes directly through each rad before moving to the next one, i hope with an inline pump the water will more faster meaning quicker heat up times. Does this sound right, do i need to choose a pump with a certain pump speed, was thinking one of these purely because i have one already on the hot water side of the boiler and it works well heating the tank in 15 mins. Thanks
  21. Is it just the same channels as free view?
