Traveller
I know this has come up before but I really cannot find what I am looking for. Simply it is an lpg cooker for the boat with oven, separate grill, 4 gas rings an a depth/width measurement of 500mm? I have looked and looked add whilst I can find plenty at 500 wide they are all coming out at 550/600 mm deep. I am trying to avoid "boat" cookers due to their high prices! Alan de Enfield
Whatever you find, make sure it is fitted with FFD (flame failure device) or you will have an expensive mud weight for when you fail your BSSC

Traveller
I just paid £450 for a new world from midland swindlers and it's just the job. 4 rings Fsd Grill Oven Looks at some New Worlds but they were more than 500 mm deep? he one's at MS appear to be 550 mm wide. I need 500 cm deep and wide if I am to avoid knocking the galley apart :-( Edited March 21, 2016 by Traveller

Machpoint005
The Statesman Legacy I bought from Midland Swindlers last autumn has a footprint of 500mm deep by 500mm wide. And a FFD.
TheBiscuits
Calor sell one. https://www.calor.co.uk/shop/in-the-home/lpg-cookers.html Don't know if it's any good, but it's shallow!
MtB
Calor sell one. https://www.calor.co.uk/shop/in-the-home/lpg-cookers.html Don't know if it's any good, but it's shallow! Your link just goes to the front page for cookers and has dozens on there. Which cooker were you suggesting? I'm interested too because I wanted a 'twin cavity' cooker 500 x 500 too when I was refitting a boat, and simply couldn't find one. The Statesman Legacy I bought from Midland Swindlers last autumn has a footprint of 500mm deep by 500mm wide. And a FFD. The Statesman Legacy doesn't have the separate grill required, unless there is another version of it Google is not showing me... A cooker 500 x 500 with separate grill. You wouldn't think it was hard to find, but is is!

The 500x500 mm is the single cavity one. https://www.calor.co.uk/shop/in-the-home/lpg-cookers/calor-cal-50-lpg-cooker.html The twin cavity is 500x600 mm. https://www.calor.co.uk/shop/in-the-home/lpg-cookers/calor-twin-cavity-cal-tc-50-lpgw.html Which is annoying, but is exactly why we decided to refit the galley so we had wider choice of cookers. Fanx for the clarification, saves me clicking ALL the links to check sizes. And expensive! No not expensive when there aren't any!
George94
No not expensive when there aren't any! On the contrary, that's very expensive. If there is no 500x500, the kitchen will have to be rebuilt to accommodate 500x600. Not cheap.
