MtB
I recall a purveyor of properties who advertised pretty well what you've said above - made a bomb, as customers liked the different and (nearly) honest approach. Does said business still exist? It does. You're thinking of Ralph Bending EA in Glastonbury. Telegraph was fond of writing articles about them and their amusing and brutally honest property descriptions, e.g: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/property/3342516/Hippy-house-hunting.html They are still around but sadly seem to have reverted to boring EA normality. Must have groan old! http://www.ralphbending.com/

Murflynn
my failing memory suggests it was in the Evening Standard classifieds, unless I'm mistaken. Memory catch-up - Roy Brooks in the Sunday papers. He started the trend in the 60s. http://www.mortgagestrategy.co.uk/remembering-roy-brooks-the-honest-estate-agent/ Edited November 12, 2015 by Murflynn

MtB
Anyone who says "comprises of" deserves all he gets. Normal mangling of the English language from estate agents, surely. Along with my old favourite which I saw repeatedly when trying to by my first house back in the late 70s "sink with cupboards under" Sink with cupboards UNDERNEATH, for goodness sake! Or better, BENEATH.

Athy
Tut tut Shurely "tt tt"? The addition of "it" would make the phrase more sensible: "sink with cupboards under it". It is a convenient abbreviation rather than a sin against the English language.
MtB
Tut tut That's different. That's a spellification era. (Edit to correct an incorrect misspelling.) Edited November 16, 2015 by Mike the Boilerman
