Tea is at 4 pm (Cup of with a cucumber sandwich or biccy if lucky)

Dinner is about 7 pm

Brekfest : the food you have when you get up in the morning. (?) - 10am

Lunch is the food you have around mid day . 12-2pm

DINNER is the meal you have in the evening. 6-8pm

(If you're not having a full dinner and just having some bits then this would be supper)

Tea is the drink you have in a mug or cup that is tea leafs infused with hot water.

Of course you could fit brunch inbetween breakfast and lunch. 10am - 12pm

Anything else is a just a snack.

Then school dinners must be served between 6-8pm ?

No sorry, dinner time is midday, tea time is when you get home and supper follows

Obvious innit?

We always had the "dinner bell" at school at 12.30pm. Even the education authority talked about "school dinners," so it must be right ;)
