I was slowed on the Audlem flight by a couple of working boats heading to Ellesmere Port after Ilklestons historic trip.

I had taken a photo from the bow of our boat a moment before that impressive bow came round the bend on The Stourbridge Canal as it came into view I jumped up and shouted to Dave to get over to give them the channel and only just remembered to take a photo of it just before it was too late to do so!

 

You are right about the colours of autumn of course and your photo's are lovely

A Nikon D3000 with a Tamron DiII lens for some, and a sony ericsson Uli cam-phone for a couple.

Thanks everyone. - hopefully the sun will come out tommorow so I can take some more on a different route.
