Easter - Whats happening on your canal?

Just checking to see if there are any "events" planned for easter,

 

Help us decide on which direction to go, and what we can look forward to.

 

If you know of any events please reply with location, type of event, dates etc

I am going to Cropredy for Easter Weekend

We have planned a trip up the Sleaford navigation then down the Maud foster drain into Boston (cos its just been dredged) then to the head of nav on the Black sluice nav.Well thats what ive planned but it will be easter so im expecting to get snowed in or somthing!!!

The Moomins and the Warriors/Paddingtons are taking a trip to Cambridge and meeting up with BlackIbis and FadeToScarlet. This is the second attempt at this Easter trip: last year we were thwarted by the failure to fix Salter's Lode lock in time.

Boat club gathering at Bugsworth. I hope Dave's friends have left by then. Bring your own beer, music etc. provided. All welcome non members especially.

The UPF will be busy on Good Friday.

We'll be in Gillingham, Dorset for Easter. Dorset must be one of few English counties never to have a canal or river navigation, possibly the only one...

I do! (Though counting negative blessings gets a bit long winded: "Thank goodness I've not been eaten a shark", "Thank goodness I've not been fried by a supernova", "Good job all four wheels didn't fall off my car simultaneously" etc, etc)

When I went up a couple of weeks back they where still in hibernation.

 

I recon it's time for them to get up. Damn..... they'll be hungry
