Matching hats

When we first bought our boat, a friend gave us as a present of five baseball caps with the name of our boat printed on them.

 

If the sun came out when crusing, on would go the baseball caps.

 

 

After three years of cruising, proudly wearing our matching baseball caps, I am coming to the conclusion that we all look like plonkers.

You need some sweatshirts with the boat name on to complete the ensemble .. maybe with "captain" and "crew" across the shoulders too ?

Y'know what, if you like wearing your hats then you just go ahead and wear them! We use our First Mate and Mutineer mugs that the in-laws gave us, although we swap round, and the mug you are alloted in the morning does seem to have an uncanny effect on your behaviour for the day

I've got a "My other car's a Lifeboat" sticker, in the back of the car which swmbo says is ridiculous and I sort of agree with her but to remove it would be to admit I'm wrong....

 

It might start peeling, next time I clean the dog lick, off the window.

I'm in the plonker camp... However some friends of ours on a Big Fish boat have their ensignia on tee shirts and unless you knew it was their boat you'd just think it was groovy designs so there's hope!
