doratheexplorer Posted October 22, 2019 Report Posted October 22, 2019 It comes down to whether non-white people are rare on the canal due to a lack of interest or if it's because the overwhelming 'whiteness' of the canals makes other ethnicities feel wary and excluded so they tend to avoid such things. If it's the former then CRT should consider whether it's a good use of money. If it's the latter then it's highly appropriate that CRT should try to engage other communities. From personal experience, it's very clear to me that it's the latter. Things are beginning to change though.
