  1. Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but a trial date has now been set for thus case. Details here https://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/19416699.murder-trial-date-set-alleged-aylesbury-killer/
  2. The other major advantage is that they are easy to store. I just take the batteries out and keep the chainsaw on top of the bedroom storage. No worries about petrol etc.
  3. I have a makita duc302z dual battery chainsaw. Not cheap about £170+ without batteries. I find it works very well and have been more than satisfied with its performance.
  4. But in this case the figure refers to flexible solar panels. So with that in mind I do find 20 Years to be impressive. It also fits into the context of the thread subject which refers to short life of flexible solar panels.
  5. Just to add some further uni solar details taken from ebay "Uni-Solar PVL-128 128W 24-Volt Flexible Amorphous Solar Panel with Bottom Facing SOLDER POINTS. These are top tier finished panels. Unisolar made them this way for a specific client. These are also Grid Tie UL 1703 Listed for Systems up to 600 VDC. Which means they were made to last 20 Years. See brochure"
  6. Try to find new old stock for uni solar pvl flexible panels. Search unisolar pvl 144. The company went into liquidation some years ago but held a large stock at the time. Most of the liquidated stock has now disappeared but occasionally some new old stock surfaces, fortunately some are currently available on ebay. Personally,I would grab some of these immediately if I had a requirement for them. These are an order of magnitude better quality than the normal flexible solar panels. I believe it was because they were of a high quality that the company went into liquidation as they could not compete on price with the tumbling prices of normal framed solar panels. Most of the stock is on the USA and so postage will be very high but thus is offset somewhat by the low price of the panels. Thoroughly recommend these panels.

Had a very bad case of the diesel bug when iced in a few years ago. Managed to source some treatment and gave it a double dose shock treatment. Completely cleared the problem up within 48 hours (recommended time is 72 hours) can highly recommend it.
  8. Try Debdale 52p per ft per week https://www.debdalewharf.co.uk/
  9. Relevant page with travel info from Heathrow here https://www.napton-marina.co.uk/information/overseas_travel.php
  10. Have to agree enjoyed this one more than the first.
  11. All very well, but all your data will go straight back to China! Hadaway man!
  12. Sheila is 87 and has zero boating experience. Gyles is 72 and has zero boating experience. Could the production company please let me know why they think this is an ideal pairing to make an informative canal related programme? Tim and Pru had a love of the canals and this came through in their early series. I'm afraid a cynical production company pairing can not falsely replicate this. Nothing against Sheila, more than happy that she is getting a pay day from this, always enjoy her tv and radio contributions.
  13. Huweai 5372 router (has ts9 connector sockets) Plus TS9 3G 4G LTE External Antenna £19.99 From a1techstore on ebay
  14. Gave it a try for 10 minutes but gave up on it. I've always liked Sheila Hancock but I get the feeling the producers have paired her and Brandreth together hoping that they can get a series of 'amusing' incidents to film. Sorry Sheila, still a ran but not of this particular project.
  15. Yes met a couple 2 days ago moving a boat from union wharf to Alvechurch. They were happy with the boat and the charges for its hire.
  16. Sorry wrong terminology. Meant road without pavement.
  17. Definitely needs reporting if that has been done. Only real alternative to get to Hartshill is to use the unpaved steep and unsafe road. It might be worth pointing out to the council just how unsafe the route is now. It is actually a criminal offence for a farmer to illegally block a footpath.

  19. I've played every one of those notes at one time or another.

That is I think the sensible thing to do. Don't be put of coming back for advice on future purchases. Good luck with your search.

So that is why you have a survey done. You now have the choice of offering to purchase at 4k or to walk away. Same as any other potential buyer.

I also don't see that the yard has done anything wrong. You requested a lift out so that survey could be done. The results of the survey are independent of the lift out. Personal if I was buying a £10,000 steel boat I would be very surprised if didn't have issues. I think you would have to be very lucky to find a £10,000 steel boat that was sound.
  23. Sounds like a job for a Tercoo disks, not cheap but very effective. I did a complete 57ft hull using a set of these although It was hard work doing such a big area. I would suggest for a water tank a single or a double would do the job. Force 4 do the double for just under £50 https://www.force4.co.uk/item/Force-4/Tercoo-Rotary-Blaster-Double/CZ7 Short video on its use here https://www.thewetworks.co.uk/products/tercoo-rotary-blaster-3-models
  24. Only reference I can find is to BITUROX Which appears, as far as I can determine, to be a registered process for making road laying bitumen. If that is what it is then it maybe not the best material for a water tank. I have a slight inkling that it may not be potable. Note I haven't spend much time reading the material I'll leave that to you. http://www.biturox.com/en/ https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.poerner.at/fileadmin/user_upload/pdf/Flyer_POE_Biturox_Web2012_e.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj04L6D9P_qAhUyRxUIHfD9DMEQFjACegQIBBAC&usg=AOvVaw0RbhZUWohcT4YliVIMl18Y
