    i use an iOS app called Dish Align to give me a rough idea if its worth bothering to set up the dish when we're moored up, if it is then its a simple job with a good signal meter to lock on to the sat.

    i can relate to all that except the toilet situation, things had progressed a bit in the 70’s only chubby kid at our school was the son of the village newsagent and had the run of the sweet counter. try explaining blankets with sleeves to todays youth, or getting the shout from your mum so you could dive out of bed and run downstairs to get dressed in front of the fire happy days

    i once spent an hour in B&Q one Sunday morning trying to find four straight pieces of picture rail, after pulling the entire rack out and even splitting a few multipacks i gave up as i could only find two they sell some right rubbish as timber

    don't bother, it's abysmal. Spitting Image in it's day was fantastic, sadly it's day has long passed. The puppets may still be good but the comedy isn't, and the voice talents they are using sound nothing like their intended targets. a program best left to history.

    yes, but what is the exact model of dongle? does it even have connectors for an external aerial? some of them don't. if it has them then most are SMA, but could be TS9 or CRC9 or there are other more obscure ones. also where is your dongle currently mounted? Just blu-tacking it to a window can give gains as a temporary fix.

    need a bit more info, what's the equipment you're trying to create better signal on? so we know what will connect or not. generally something like a Poynting 4g-xpol-a0001 on a long pole will do the trick, but make sure you know the correct connections for your device

    from what i recall from the vids, they bought it months ago and were in the process of moving it to the K&A, but covid kept getting in the way and then winter water levels
