  1. I'd suggest that boats lose price until about 25 years old when they seem to level out. At 25 years they seem to lose a lot less, if anything. I'd suggest that buying at that age you'd lose very little, if anything.

  3. Can't the surgery post it if you send a sae when the time comes.
  4. I am not a fisherman but I thought catches had to be put back. Having said that, Pike are fish eaters I yhink so if it was that big it probably ate half the stock, no wonder someone chopped it's head off.
  5. Modern TVs use 40w or less.
  6. This seems to happen a lot. Why don't they make them with a far bigger cap?
  7. That's the way to go when buying a boat. Don't complete till 1st of the month. Simples!
  8. Dunno the answer to your question but would be interested to see the answers. I have thought of installing remote equipment. As I'm into radio controlled aircraft I was looking at using that sort of equipment. I'm sure it would be a not too difficult job for someone who builds remote aircraft. The advantages for someone who is single handed would be immense and I don't think it would cost an arm and a leg. EDIT Seeing the first answer I think CRT need to rethink. In this day and age of drones and driverless cars they are well out of touch. When I say drones I don't mean the toy stuff I mean the full size stuff.

  10. And your point is.......,.. Cannot give a Greene for this one.
  11. There are some rip off prices in that lot. I pay 60p a day standing charge and 10p per kwh all plus vat. Trouble is that is not in a marina, it's at home in Spain. lol P.S. Bottled gas is about £10 per 13.5kg bottle.
  12. You could write to C&RT or whoever it must be. Point out the problems asking them to write to the various clubs.
  13. From the details I see it holds more poo than water. lol

  15. "Are they self tapping type or tapped and threaded and what is the counter sunk head size i will need to sit flush with the mushroom when screwed in if that makes sense " It does make a bit of sense but how on earth do you think anyone will know that, we aren't all telepathic. Mushrooms can vary from boat to boat.
  16. I'd be thinking about installing an accumalator. It will give you an even flow and save your batteries.

  18. Favourite would over filling as said. Second favorite is a duff water pump with a big drip.

  20. Do not forget the pie shop in Skipton. They are to die for. Along the arm for two minutes and it is next to the bridge. Check it out on google earth.
  21. I see that three have upped their tethering allowance from 4gb to 12gb. I strongly suspect they were losing punters as 4 gb is a bit tight. A sim only deal of AYCE data, unlimited texts and 600 talk is £25. That is a 12 month contract but you can have 1 month contract if you limit the data to 12gb instead of AYCE. Also anyone with poor credit will be accepted at www.pgmobile.co.uk. They use the Three network but have different price plans. "On our All-you-can-eat data plans, you can use up to 12GB of your data each month to create a Personal Hotspot within the UK."
  22. Putting it in gear is a big no no. I think it may be against C&RT rules. I've heard the same about glazing and if I needed to charge would do it in neutral at a slightly higher speed than tickover.

This seems odd to me. They told me that council tax was included on residential moorings. Are they now saying that some res moorings will be exempt? If that is the case they will need to drop the price by quite a bit.
