    The Danes do public information films so much better, if this is anything to go by. Only peripherally canal related, but people do cycle (very fast!) along tow paths and a helmet is a good idea. It made me laugh. ? "But it messes up my braids!"

    after having a little springer ive now got my first big boat..52ft... been sat unloved in a marina for many years and today a boat mover is starting the 6 day trip to bring her home.. fingers crossed she makes it ok... shes no oil painting but i cant wait... being disabled and unable to travel by road for any distance ive not been able to see her in real life... thanks for helping with the questions guys and look forward to giving her a new lease of life....

    I think sadly quite a few people fail to realise that an ex working boat...converted or not....handles very differently and requires a lot more thought and input to steer than your average clonecraft.

    I remember as a kid we were left outside of there in the camper van whilst Dad and Mum nipped in for a quick drink there.....we camped there overnight in the end as the van wasnt going anywhere!!

    well she made it home and cant say thankyou enough to paul for doing it for us and only a couple of teething problems... i think biggest one was just getting out of the marina at hallingbury... that place needs serious dredging.... so chuffed that shes a healthy engine and drive.... if anyone needs someone to move there boat please give paul a shout...

    Hi Alan, I think you have a differing experience of composting toilets. I have used my Airhead for four seasons, travelling from Midlands to south. I HAVE NEVER LEFT ANY DEPOSIT BY THE SIDE OF ANY CANAL. Actually, once each year I put two bricks of compressed coconut fibre pus enough water to soften the bricks into a soft mulch. All my liquid deposits are disposed each day, rather like having a quick pee in the hedge ! Solids are rotated into the mulch by an electric motor and swtch. I am always amazed and mystified, that the volume in the bown always remains the same !!!! Once each year I do empty the contents into a plastic bag and then into my garden plant trough. I LOVE MY AIRHEAD.
