Please can somone tell me

 

on a new diy build boat, do I have to install the new type double skinned flue.?

or can you still instal the normal type single skin or  thick steel pipe.

Vitreous enamel flue pipe makes for a very good single skinned chimney. I've been using the same piece of pipe on my roof for the last 14 winters. Much better than the rubbish NB chimneys they sell in chandlers, but then it doesn't have bits of brass stuck onto it to make it look boaty.

You mean the roof collar that’s shown on here? http://www.soliftec.com/Boat Stoves 1-page.pdf

Yes, but what roof?  GRP boat, steel boat with wooden roof, shed?
