  1. thanks for everyone's help so far. I've put 10mm fireboard with a 12mm air gap between that and the wall and wondered what's the closest distance i can put the stove away from the fireboard?
  2. advice on best material for behind the stove (leaving the air gap between stove & wall)...aluminium? fireboard? cement board? what do you have and why? many thanks :)

  6. thanks, it's a wooden roof. i don't need a removable chimney. i just want something to form a neat seal (like this grey skirt in diagram http://www.soliftec.com/Boat Stoves 1-page.pdf) to go around the 20cm twin wall pipe thats going up through the roof. Any suggestions?
