A bargain boat

Would the seller not be better advised to "weigh it in", i.e. sell the, er, boat for its scrap value?

I'd be surprised if that were a great deal more. And what will it cost the scrap merchant to come and get it and separate the usable material?

What about a Lottery grant new bottom sides top extended to 55ft and refit plus lister engine .keep registration plate.

how would you get under a bridge if you extend the top to 55 feet.

are the saw edges on the steelwork a new design to prevent plastic bag collection?

It's a SAW trap

I told Mrs Sabcat about this boat. She wasn't impressed, I showed her the ebay listing. She was less impressed. I described the idea of a steel top like an armoured car. She was even less impressed. Ho hum.

God you need LESSONS in handling wimmins mate.

Just BUY the thing, bring it home, and say NOTHING. Just act like it's the most natural thing in the world. And if she starts on about it, tell her you're obviously gonna do it up and flog it for GAZILLIONS. Then do whatever you like. No explanations. No excuses.
