Your shower (or wetroom) floor will be well below the outside water level, so, you will need a pump to take it from your drain-point (plughole-showertray) up and out of the boat.

Have a look on eBay for "12V Shower Sump Pump System" which is basically just a plastic box with a filter and a bilge pump that collects all your waste water from shower, sink & basin and pumps it up and overboard whenever it collects enough in the box.

No don't. These seem attractive but have something of a reputation of filling the bilges with (eventually) smelly shower water. A quick search on here will identify the Whale shower pump as the most reliable and popular. It has a diaphragm so will run dry for a while and also large rubber flap valves that will pass hairs and even small stones without blocking. Simply turn on when you get into the shower and off again once it has pumped all the water out.

You dont need complicate the plumbing - the pump is purely for the shower/bath,

Sinks and basins are above water level and drain by gravity.

Quite correct they are not very good, i can state from experience, as Tony says a shower pump is far better we fitted a NON return valve as well so water did not drain back causing a smell if left too long

Usual way to pump shower water overboard is with a Whale Gulper 220, not cheap at £80ish but it works:

To plumb to a standard 40mm shower trap there are 40mm to stepped hose tails adapters on Ebay, usually from Koi suppliers:

From there to the gulper 3/4" ribbed pond hose can be used, then same to a skin fitting with 3/4" hose tail, clips to suit:

There's all different shower traps, a trawl of Ebay will show good range. Some are shallower than others, but must suit the hole in the shower tray!

A larger chandlery should have most if not all the above bits.

ETA: Tiles can be a little tricky, some use shower wall panel eg:

cheers, Pete.
