matty40s
As does Mark on Callisto. No,, no pubs anywhere within a 30 mile radius and no-one moors on the Coventry. Grendon is a landfill site. ( anyfink else we can tell 'im. ...)

Mac of Cygnet
There is a pub on the main road (A5) but it's an uninspiring roadhouse. However, if you continue up Boot Hill (!) another half mile (it'll do you good) to Baddesley Ensor , there is an excellent little GBG listed pub, The Red Lion. Plenty of pubs in Atherstone, of course.
p6rob
anyone on here moor on the long term moorings at Grendon on the Coventry? well if you do you are about to have a new neighbour For the next few days I'm a few hundred yards the other side of the bridge. Last Friday, when I motored passed the moorings there looked like a good sociable bunch of boaters enjoying the evening sun with a few drinks and laughs. It does look like a good site.
