Only if it's in 'good as new' condition!

You should have told him that it comes with a tent - which would solve his living accommodation problem!

No - the tent is extra!!

You will never become a good second-hand car salesman.

You should have thrown in the tent for free to close the sale and then "persuaded" him to take out a 10 year Extended Warranty (under which he wouldn't actually be able to claim for anything) at a mere £5,000 per year!

Well I wouldnt sell it for anything less than 90 to 100k (at the moment) as I really wish to live on it for a while, perhaps even raise a family which would be nice smile.png

And Malvern is greatly reduced, I was very tempted - its a lovely boat.

About Malvern, we looked at it in about July, but turned it down mainly because the cabin steelwork is really rather average, quality-wise, and we both prefer all portholes. AS2s though, are lovely, there used to be one in Trees, a wooden 50 something feet replica in the basin where we are, it sounded gorgeous!

Trees was no replica.

It was the last boat to be built by Samuel Barlows at Braunston.

A true classic and as historically important as any ex-working boat.

Is it still there...any pictures...any chance the owner would part with it?

Edited to add: Looking back over my own posts I see that Pete Harrison has already informed me that Trees was broken up in 2005.
