1984 sounds right.   I had a chance to look at the work in progress which was most interesting.  A site tipper lorry took us to the mid section of the tunnel in its dump box, which was aptly named as it reversed into the tunnel at a terrifying speed.

The ‘lorry’ was a Volvo BM ADT (Articulated Dump Truck).  The BM stands for Bolinder-Munktell so you could say that you went through in a trad engined vehicle 😂

101605E to 10608E show the new Bombardier Flexity 2 Trams which began operating on the Blackpool Tramway in 2012.

101605E is on Queens Promenade just north of Gynn Square, the others are on the Promenade, just south of Gynn Square.

101609E and 101610E are Gynn Square itself, with I think the Rocket tram in advertising livery on the central island and the Gynn pub in the background.

I don't think so.

I reckon they are of the Corkickle Brake at Whitehaven.

Oops, so it is. I have friends who live close to the incline on the Bowes Railway and I've walked down to it a few times. The photo reminded me of the view from the incline looking down into the Team valley.

I'm struggling to keep up with comments (but keep them coming) - I'm up to about 2nd November for comments on this forum, I think I'm up-to-date for comments on my website and acutely aware that batch 3 is heading back to @magpie patrick and batch 4 is in the post on the way for scanning...
