Had a look through MM's gallery the other day, what a fantastic assortment of canal history he has drudged up from the depths. If its not too rude can I ask where the found things go, surely theres a place for a lot of the stuff found in a museum somewhere...and I mean the type of museum where people can see the things and not where theyll be locked in some storeroom.

Take it from one who knows there aint.

 

 

Apparently the canal salvage laws state that if your magnet can lift it, it's yours.

 

Anything about aluminium bicycles and boat hooks?

Hi, Thanks for the mention of his Gallery, I enjoyed the pics.......................... plenty of windlass but not a lot of Engine room doors !
