Phil, this is Barry Bentley, now you have taken the piss, can you help me get a crew position for the upcoming summer. I am considering buying a boat, but would like to get some experience on boat handling and also if I like it or not. I have extensive experience on Lake Ontario, but realise that this is totally different.

Hi Barry, not sure how I've taken the piss but however I may be able to point you in the right direction.
Of course the fact we are in lockdown is a bit of a hindrance.

I came onto NBs after having a liveaboard widebeam for 10 years and wanted to move from the Norfolk Broads to the Cambridgeshire Fens and the 13ft beam was too much so a NB it was.
We moved from our 40ft x 13ft GRP to a 60ft 6' 10" and loved it. We spent 10 years roaming the Fenland waterways but sadly my wife's health took a dive and we were forced ashore but stayed about a mile from the river Lark.
