  2. Had my last two boat safety inspections done there
  3. I'm lost, is it a john Deere or a Ford Lister we are talking about?
  4. A Lister CK3 or a Ford tractor engine, I always thought it was a Dexta but its not
  5. There are very few No Cycling signs but as you say compliant bikes are OK FAQs | Canal & River Trust (canalrivertrust.org.uk)
  6. I bought a spare glass for the wood burner at home after the winter, I laid it still wrapped in corrugated card in the bottom of the wood burner for safe keeping to not get broken. Someone lit the first fire of the autumn on top of it thinking it was just some corrugated paper I had thrown away. It was still OK

  15. Following the death in Harecastle tunnel they were supposed to have communication through there but as I recall it failed to work, they installed aerials each end just inside the tunnel I assume as repeaters for mobile phone signal.
  16. I just looked at Gt Yarmouth and dont see any mention of the new bridge, only the Haven bridge
  17. If I was heading to the broads from the canals I would go the other way and out of the Thames, there are lots of places to hide between there and Yarmouth, you could just go in at Lowestoft. Go out of the Wash and its a long non stop run to Yarmouth unless you run up on the beach somewhere. Here is half the trip TNC On Tour 2003 Thames Estuary (tuesdaynightclub.co.uk) maybe you should read all the site to see what can be done in a standard Narrowboat
