    There was major work (at a high cost) going on late last year to vastly improve the Blackwater feeder at Bugsworth, shame its not up to the job.

    I would concur that forward of the swing bridge at Dukinfield is a good spot, mostly dog walkers. Just before Portland basin is a marina that may have space if staying for a while, likewise at Droylsden Marina. After that I would suggest Manchester, Piccadilly Village, offside or in Telford Basin. The residents usually give you the code for the street gate.

    Last year on the Llangollen came across a share boat well aground in the shallows, threw him a line and dragged him off. Once he was free, waved him past and he drew the water from me and left me in the mud pfft. Only a little experience (and a lot of good luck, no gongoozlers) got me free.

    There is a fix, sign up to cloudfare.com and you can register one website for free which once you redirect your site, will give additional protection as well as giving https. All you have to do is alter your DNS record to point to cloudfare. This does not affect your registration with your hosting company.

    That could be misinformation as it is not always the case. On my control panel at the first turn of the key all warning lights come on as does the warning buzzer (self test) and once the engine is started all lights and buzzer should go off unless of course there is a fault. I currently have a faulty bulb but such faults do not operate the buzzer.

    Works fine for me on Firefox and is quite a good variable 3 dimensional view of the breach taken from the drone footage. Had no issue in escaping from it.

    It looks as though they have managed to repair the spread of the lock wall with the foundations now ready for the replacement of the stonework. I understand that the original stonework was found to be crumbling and CRT have had to source new stone which has caused the delay from March until May for reopening.

    It is highly likely that a majority of deaths are alcohol induced and within the central area of the City of Manchester the canals are now just one linear public house. The city licensing appear not to be looking at the risk factor here.

    Incorrect. It is 2.5% for using the online system and 2.5% for payment in full. Paying by direct debit only gains 2.5% discount if using the online system.

    Aah the new asbestos, should be interesting in years to come. What most of the replies seem to have avoided is ensuring cables have an adequate air gap. It is generally a big no no to install cables embedded in high density thermal insulation on the majority of electrical installations as the cables would have to be derated by as much as 50%. There is no excuse on boat designs not to use conduit or preferably trunking.

    They seem to do the job for me. Year 1 - £178 Year 2 - £167 Year 3 - £173 Year 4 - £139 Must be some logical reason for such a drop this year but I'm not for complaining.

    1+3+4+5 This is a busy prime mooring area and very busy at most times of the year. I pass there many times over the course of a year and have only been able to moor once. After so many months it is the responsibility of CRT, they are quick to jump on the average Joe for a 15 day stay in most locations.
