  3. There is a YouTube video of a gent putting them on whist repainting his NB. Sadly I can’t recall his name but it seemed simple enough although a little trial and error. He even shows how to make a good job of the corners. In addition he shows what the product is. Sorry for the sketch info but I just came across it by accident
  4. Poor mouse might have a nut allergy ??

  11. Surely a humane trap is more appropriate? Why do you feel you need to kill the mouse or rat (other rodents are available on request)? I apologise if this seems a little harsh but I can’t think of a more pleasant way of expressing my point or have I missed something why a nipper is actually better?
  12. I believe that’s is a company named Stonebridge Boatyard and I suspect they will would guide you through a service for future DIY
  13. Personally I would try a fabric cleaner, together with a stain remover similar to vanish and a carpet cleaner. If no joy perhaps try a dye to cover the stain.
  14. https://www.procastnotts.com/index.php/lamps_and_horns-brass_lamps__horns/?k=48620:14::: Never used them but they sell similar items
  15. Personally I would forget about wax because it will probably only last a maximum of 6 months before it will need reaplying and that is for the expansive waxes. I would apply a sealant and then all you need to do is wash this when and if you want. It does as it says, seals over the paint or clear coat if one has been applied. A ceramic sealant generally should last 2 - 5 years dependent on the product and again are easy to keep clean and shiny? There is a blue NB in the marina at Harefield and I wondered if this was per chance your old boat. Reading this post I suppose it was. It was looking good??
  16. P&S Marine also blasted and applied a 2 pack epoxy coating to our 70ft NB in 2018. As the boat hasn’t been out of the water since I can’t comment on the actual coating but subsequently had 2 weeks afloat in the marina there and was able to watch all the work being undertaken on other boats and I have to say I was impressed with them. No shortcuts and they seemed very thorough. They all seemed non stop including the welder?

  20. But thank you for doing so. I really enjoyed watching the videos and I suppose it’s easy if you know what you’re doing ??
  21. Oi you, don’t try and introduce any semblance of reasonableness into this thread ??
  22. Only a problem for those with a brain. Read into that what you will??
  23. Having had rectal cancer I can heartily recommend a waterless toilet (some call it composting). So much more convenient and less hassle (also less cost) than the two other methods you mention ? For all those who like to promote their own personal choice unless you have had bowel or rectal cancer I shall totally ignore any of your responses ?. If it helps I have had both pump out and cassette.
