  2. we have an ex black prince and although we ripped the interior completely out (floor to ceiling) and refitted it over 2 years its an excellent well made boat and never had any probs with the engine, yes it has a few dents in it but im sure you have seen hire boaters drive them :cheers:lol
  3. i will try and find out if it's temp or not when i get there next weekend.
  4. that sounds like a brilliant idea bizzard, i just wonder what medication you were on at the time.(nothing illigal i hope)

  19. personally i would find it quite annoying too, same as when they moor on water points etc.
  20. yep we did go through, when i checked the drakelow level this morning it was at 1.83 now its at 1.96 so glad we did it, we had the boat at full power and was going really slow, was a little scarey to say the least, have a safe journey all.

  23. i used this in april when the soar flooded. floodline0845 988 1188 (24 hour service) usually updated every 15 mins. i would get all the information that you might need now before your trip, all the numbers you might need are here EA usually the soar is a calm river but this year it seems to be the exception.
  24. don't bank on going too far up the T&M unless they take the padlocks of wychnor.
